Notes:
TeachText is used only to read these instructions. You may throw it in
the trash when you are done reading this to save disk space.

The OCR and the Font files are used by the scanners which have the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) board installed. If you do not have this option, you may discard these files from your hard disk to save space.

If you have the PC Scan 2000, when you use the White Calibrate menu option a file named Calibration File will be created in your System Folder. Publish Pac uses this file. Leave it there for best results when scanning (other DEST scanners do not use this feature).

You do NOT need the OPEN Me folder on your hard disk after installation. You may throw it in the trash to conserve disk space.

You may experience problems when printing to a LaserWriter with Publish Pac under low memory conditions or when cancelling a print job. We recommend using LaserPrep and LaserWriter 6.0, available at no charge from Apple dealers. To check your version, click once on the file LaserWriter in the System Folder then pull down the File menu and select Get Info.
